1. The Desktop Application

MediaSplit Pro runs entirely on your Windows computer. When you split, watermark, or reframe a video, that processing is done locally using a bundled copy of FFmpeg — no part of your media file, its metadata, or its filename is ever sent over the internet.

• No account or sign-in of any kind is required or offered.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs are included in the app.
• No network connection is made while the app processes your files.
• Your output clips are written only to the folder you choose on your own device.

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to store, sell, share, or lose in a breach.

2. The Website (mediasplitpro.rathtech.in)

This website does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. It exists only to describe the app and host its installer download.

Like virtually any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and request timestamp) for security and operational purposes. We do not access this data for tracking individuals, and it is governed by Vercel's own privacy policy.

3. Third-Party Components

MediaSplit Pro bundles FFmpeg, an open-source multimedia framework, to perform local video/audio processing. FFmpeg runs entirely on your machine as part of the app and does not transmit any data on its own.

4. Children's Privacy

Since the app and website do not collect personal data from anyone, they do not knowingly collect personal data from children either.

5. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional online feature — this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date before that change ships, and the change will be described here in plain language.
